The cookbook became a movie

We gave AI a cookbook. It gave us back a movie.

This is The Voyage to the Kitchen — a three-minute film made entirely with AI, from a children's cookbook that was itself written and illustrated with AI: Jennie and the Potatoe Pirates, a microwave cookbook adventure for young sailors.

The first cut stays visible.

It's our first cut, published as made — odd edges and all. It even broke once in the open (the first render lost the crew's voices; we heard it, fixed it, and published the fixed film the same day). A refined cut will follow, and the two will stand side by side. That's the Channel Zero way: show the work.

Story Service

Your story could be next

There's at least one story inside everyone — a family's, a business's, a book's. We make these films for people who have the story and the material (photos, letters, recordings, a manuscript) but not a film crew: a short film, made openly with AI, the way we made ours.

First cohort, deliberately small, so each one gets made properly. Tell us the story in a line or two and we'll talk scope and price plainly.

Tell us your story.

A line or two is enough to start. We will confirm your email before your hand-raise enters the dedicated Story Service list.

Double opt-in from day one. Your details stay in Kurka Labs' database and, after you confirm, your contact enters the dedicated Resend segment “Story Service.”
